Our Purpose and Practice

Our for-purpose partnership enterprise, founded in 2023, is dedicated to supporting personal wellbeing and purposeful growth. Through counselling, coaching, and a unique rope-based somatic mindfulness practice, we assist humans in building self-awareness, strengthening relationships, and working toward goals that hold personal meaning. Our welcoming premises are also available for hire, offering a warm and versatile venue for aligned practitioners and community-focused events.

David and Nina are partners in life and in purpose. Together, they founded Boundless Bonds to champion a vision of community where mental and physical wellbeing, emotional resilience, and authentic connection are not only supported but celebrated.

About Nina 

Coach · Counsellor · Somatic Rope Practitioner · Co-Founder of Boundless Bonds

Nina is a coach, counsellor and somatic rope practitioner who helps people reconnect—with themselves, their values and goals, and the relationships that shape their lives. Her work is grounded in non-judgmental emotional safety, somatic mindfulness, and a genuine desire to help people reach their full potential.

With a Diploma of Counselling, psychological studies with the University of Tasmania, and  many years of experience in values-driven leadership, Nina brings both empathy and skill to her practice. She’s known for her ability to listen deeply, ask the right questions, and guide clients towards achieving meaningful outcomes. Nina also has more than a decade of experience exploring the transformative potential of body-centred rope tying, shaping and honing her skills and knowledge through immersive shibari and decorative rope classes and workshops in Melbourne, Sydney and Montreal. 

About David

Somatic Rope Practitioner · Co-Founder of Boundless Bonds

David supports workshop participants in building trust, learning foundational rope skills, and engaging with the practice in a way that feels safe and empowering. His interest in body-centred rope-tying is rooted in its capacity to foster trust, presence, and meaningful connection between partners. Over the past four years, David has developed his skills and deepened his understanding of foundational techniques and safety principles through workshops and skillshares with skilled practitioners. 

It's important to understand that whilst skilled and knowledgeable in the services they offer, neither Nina nor David are registered psychologists.
