Boundless Bonds is a not-for-profit partnership enterprise founded in 2023 by Nina and David to encourage a vibrant body-centred rope-tying community in Tasmania for those who enjoy and derive benefit from the practice. 

It's important to understand that neither Nina nor David are trained therapists. Their intention in establishing Boundless Bonds and organizing events is solely to provide individuals with an opportunity to explore the potential benefits of body-centred rope-tying. They do not claim to be certified therapists in any psychological discipline.
 

About Nina Nina's journey into the art of body-centred rope-tying commenced in 2015 when she became immersed in not only learning the intricacies of tying beautiful patterns and knots but also in experiencing the myriad of psychological aspects. Since then, she has cultivated a deep appreciation for both self-tying and the art of tying others. Her exploration has taken her to various workshops and lessons in Melbourne, Sydney, and even Montreal, Canada, enriching her understanding of the practice. Complementing her hands-on experience, Nina's ongoing undergraduate studies in Psychological Science have afforded her insights into why some individuals derive profound mental health and general wellbeing benefits from body-centred rope-tying. Motivated by this understanding, she aspires to amplify the visibility of this transformative practice, offering it to the broader community.
 

About David

David's fascination with body-centred rope-tying stems from its remarkable capacity to nurture trust and forge profound connections between rope-tying partners. Although David is relatively new to the practice, he has honed his skills and deepened his comprehension of its foundational principles and safety protocols through skillshares and workshops over the past two years. His natural inclination to assist others in any capacity makes him a compassionate and invaluable support for guiding participants through basic knot tying and safety aspects at Boundless Bonds workshops and skillshares.
